More than ever, leaders need a safe harbour to:
re-confirm contexts (ie macro business impacts)
align motivations (ie why do I do what I do)
establish and test options (ie are they compelling)
articulate and plan solutions.
I have just recruited for a CEO position.
Aside from being disappointed with the huge response (an indication of the state of the economy and poor career planning) the real surprise was how few of our corporate leaders had their stories together.
